    Re: 338 Lapua Velocities Whats your oal? I am running RL25 with 96 grns at 3060 and 98.5 grns at 3160 from 26 inches, 10 twist on a Bat action and Hart bbl. Using a Wyatt box and I am at 3.78 oal with the 250s.

    How hard do u guys run yours, reason is can the rem700 run just as hard as some of the larger actions. I am doing around 3100 to 3150 from my 250 grns and i am running 225s at around 3300 from 26 inch bbls with 10 twist.

    Re: Nightforce or Leupold To the poster, if you wouldn't have brought up glass I would have said if price is simular go NF. But you ask about glass. I can tell you they are so close on average it could go either way. I have yet to have a single time if I could not see a target with a Leupy...

    Re: 338 RUM vs. 338 Lapua +1 on the info. had many Lapuas for a long time and the rums will do anything they will. Matter a fact the rums I have had have not been as finicky as my LMs especially with lighter bullets. I do think the Lapua brass is better though, u can run the hell out of it...

    Re: best glass Didn't say if u were hunting or just shooting at targets late. If hunting is your game leave the NF, leupys, and pm2s alone, their fovs suck as does their late evening performance imo compared to say a vmv, z6 or sb classic-not pm2. FOV is huge for late hunting.
