    Get th.e 308 mags and bend the feed lips, install a block in the back of the mag. Hooray you have a high cap 223 mag that doesn't suck. Did this for my 300 blackout , also did the same for my 458 socom. Works well.

    No issues at all. Several thousand rounds were loaded on mine before I sold my rifle. Like the others have said you may need to tip the bullet into the case , other than that you are good to go.

    Here is where I am. I would like a big bore cartridge like the fifty bmg but I can not use it hunting due to local regulations. I have several 45-70 rifles and a 458 socom bolt action. Many .458 bullets sit on the shelf above my bench, and this makes me not want to have to stock 416, 375, or 408...

    Think fire or heat detector. Smaller and easier to mount than a smoke detector not to mention when you are installing 100's of them cheaper. I don't think they are motion detectors

    You could fix it but it would require a new longer nut and maybe new in letting.
