    Re: bolt gun rough chamber Can you see anything on the shoulder or up towards the base in the chamber itself? From the muzzle end, push a patch til it gets to the throat, take a flashlight and eyeball if you see the mark on the chamber causing it..

    Re: Counterboring inside the muzzle of a barrel. Have done many a piloted counterbore job on target barrels, deep as you like, get the right tool for the job, or just cut the barrel back and recrown.
