My preferred method. Takes up level scope caps out of the equation. Basically just the plumb bob method that you can easily do indoors with a few feet.
I just tape the flashlight to the handrail on a deck of cards if needed and then both hands can be used to work the scope

Cost to weight ratio seems to give a big nod to the MOE bipod. Just ordered one for $67 to try out. I also usually only shoot off my tripod hunting but like to be able to set my rifle down on a bipod if needed.
Haha no trolling here. My AI didn’t line up with a factory barrel off a different action either and it was never an issue. I’ll wait for the gauges and check and then I won’t worry about it again. Thanks gentlemen
I’m assuming this is probably an issue but wanted to see what you all thought. Most of the threads I see about them not indexing correctly is because they are using an origin barrel on a TL3 or vice versa and their threads start 180 degrees different than each other.
