    I had some wincheater brass doing that pretty bad. I threw it away... i couldnt figure out what was going on... i chalked it up to bad brass and/or a trimmer problem. It was with wincheater 243 brass.... be sure to measure your oal case length... many time you dont need to trim a ton...

    When you test rounds... measure your oal first with vlds and set them close to test with... like ten thousanths... off the lands.. then test powders with all bullets set there.... after you find the right load you can tweek seating depth again.... remember even temp stable powders are not...

    260 Rem - Lapua versus Remington Brass

    I use lapua across the board right now... it last long imo... i had over 25 reloads on my last batch of 65 grendel and prolly coulda got more. Life of brass is what you pay for. Nosler is suppose to be real good too.

    I dont know much about choate.... i dont like bell and carlson quality... only boyds ive handled are laminate wood they are decent wood stocks.
