    Kevlar Vests?

Re: Kevlar Vests? from a comfort standpoint, I can't tell a difference when the plate is in the vest or out. From a survival standpoint, I wouldn't wear it without the plates. I don't know what you're guardin' but if you think the bad guys don't carry AK's in your neighborhood, think again. John

Re: .308 loads for "doing it all" http://www.appliedballisticsllc.com/index_files/Book.htm Buy this book. It comes with ballistic software. It has several charts(in the book) for each caliber and bullet to help you determine exactly what you're asking about. John If memory serves me, I don't...

    Hunting & Fishing eastern coyotes

Re: eastern coyotes I've pretty much abandon the rabbit calls altogether. Try the calls that mimic the coyote howl and bark. Make sure they aren't circling you downwind. I'm sure I've missed more for that reason than any other. John

    Reloading Federal Brass

Re: Reloading Federal Brass Bronco, That's exactly what we have seen done in the past. Sometimes it may not even be the same caliber or so I've been told. The whole issue seems to be trash in forest. I was told it stemmed from shotgun hulls???? YMMV, John

    Reloading Federal Brass

Re: Reloading Federal Brass I've had the nickel finish chip off after trimming. I don't want a piece of nickel getting pushed down the barrel in front of a bullet or UNDER a bullet. Nickel is a VERY hard metal. I'd be very careful if you choose to trim them after several reloads. Personally...

Re: Gun just went off!!!! Seems to me I remember a safety/trigger Rem. 700 issue 5-7 years ago being discussed on Sniper Country. If memory serves me correctly it was a factory/new issue and had shown up in some used weapons also. The rifles would fire when dropped on the buttpad or when the...
