Rifle Scopes FFP vs. Illuminated reticle--which and why?

Re: FFP vs. Illuminated reticle--which and why? Okay, so provided the scope is FFP and has quiality optics, etc., do you see the illuminated reticle as being worth, say, the $200 option you pay on a USO scope?

Rifle Scopes FFP vs. Illuminated reticle--which and why?

Yes, I realize that you can get both in one scope. If you had to choose, which do you think is more useful and why? All other variables--magnification range, adjustment type, optical clarity--should be considered equal. This would be for both formal KD matches and practical/tactical shooting.

Rifle Scopes Leupold SFP scopes-at what mag is reticle correct?

I have two Leupold SFP scopes, one a 4.5-14x40 and one a 6.5-20x50. These are both VX-IIIs with Mil-Dot reticles. I read that most SFP scopes are made with reticles correct at either 10x or the max magnification. Does anyone know if there is a general rule for Leupold scopes on this issue? I...

    Photos whats this?

Re: whats this? Those are definitely the older M60 linked blanks some of the guys have mentioned already. I remember finding bunches of them out in the training areas, left over from the days when you didn't have to pick up and turn in brass from field exercises.

Re: List of NFA Trust attorney's by state? http://www.guntrustlawyer.com/ I would check this site out and not try to rig something with Quicken. It is not worth risking a felony conviction to save $500 on legal documents.

Suppressors Buying a FN FNP 45 tactical

Re: Buying a FN FNP 45 tactical I am holding off until FN does another military rebate. A friend of mine has one and it is really, really impressive. Very accurate, great trigger, good ergos (for a DS .45) and the sight are excellent, too. It is definitely on my short list for handguns to buy.

Re: SWFA Low Price Guarantee. For all you guys who are shocked at trade-in offers, keep in mind that they have to offer you something significantly under what they pay to buy the scopes wholesale. I have had great experiences with SWFA and, like LowLight said, the guys who come on these...

Re: good use of a ping pong table I am guessing they are using OTM, which I hear is good stuff. Resports of 600 yard kills with an M4 ACOG and 77 grain OTM were coming out of AFG even back in 2002. I don't think anyone has frags in Iraq these days, so good luck with our Pashtun friends.

    Home protection Rifle

Re: Home protection Rifle If you want a 5.56 rifle, I would add either a) electronic ear pro or b) a suppressor. You might do well with both. Shooting 5.56 indoors even with plugs will give you a headache and without them it will really mess you up. I'm not just talking long-term hearing...

Re: Any Southern NY or TriState Area ppl here? As a future resident of the area, I am going to keep an eye on this thread. I will hopefully be teaching at USMA in the future but I have been dreading NY gun laws and what seems to be a chronic shortage of good ranges.

    Keltec KSG Bullpup Pump Shotgun

Re: Keltec KSG Bullpup Pump Shotgun I was just thinking that it was pretty cheap for a completely new design with probably no parts in common with existing designs. SVI pistols have polymer frame lowers, but that doesn't mean they aren't worthy of their relatively high price tag. I agree...
