    Got the full archimedes build. Arrived around March. So far about 400 rds down the pipe. Mainly load development. Think got it nailed down now. just screw ups on my part. It is definately a shooter. If ever get time off gone try to do full review. Sure most would think what a dumbass.

Looking real hard at the fx 120 set up and keeping an eye on the auto trickler threads. Which one is yet to be determined. Looks like can buy separate so $1500 price...

    Measuring rifle kick

    Remember saw a formula couple years ago to calculate recoil. Apparently my Google Foo sucks and can't find it. Believe used bullet weight, velocity, gun weight, etc. Anyone know what I'm talking about.

    Archimedes: is there a better deal out there?

    Got in on the Thanksgiving sale. Got full build archimedes. Love it. Stock is easy to adjust, grip fits me perfect. Best way to describe is bravo grip feel. Still trying to nail down a good load, think may have found it last outing. Just don't get to shoot as much as rest of you.

    To the 1st response. Weird, did search and got this page but Only 1st half of page. Clicked on your link and more info showed. Anyway looks like start around 12 gr of trailboss and work down. Gun is arc archimedes rifle 1 in 7.5 twist. Will have to stay with coper jackets since running tbac ultra 9

    Anyone got any loading experience with it. I know its not ideal but this will be strictly for fun. Used trailboss in my 308 sub rounds with sucess, wondering if charge weight would be close in 6.5 Did a search and didn't come up with much info

    Wish someone would try the 45-70 with 500+ grn bullets and report back. Most loads are already close to sub in the heavies. Had this idea for a while,just dont have time or $$ to do it

    Spray Painting Rifles

    Whats your recomendation on spray paint? Got an archimedes bareled action, and barell is bare stainless. Thought about ceracoating, but dont think would be worth it.

    Yes. Mine is the same way. Rear scope ring is right above bolt stop. About only negative about this action.

    Thank you to everyone that responded. Finally made relavent post i quess. Starting to Lean towards the magneto with an off barrel mount. Not sure where , but i AM totally missing the differances between the sporter and v3 version in regards to surppresor use,assuming it just the way the mounts...

    Since lab radar is unabtanium, probably gone go magneto with mk mount. Are there beter mounts? Don't want anything touching the barrel.
