Gunsmithing Thread size for s&w 460 extractor rod cap
Well I got the broken threads out. It measured .120 diameter on the threads and 42 tpi left hand thread. I cut the new one .125 x 42 left hand and it worked great. hopefully this might help anyone else in need of the info.- Dantrom

Rifle Scopes Low Power Varible Optic on 16" Boltgun?
Not as flashy but I have a weaver classic 2.5-7 on a hunting rifle and I must admit I have been very pleased with the clarity and it holds zero on all of the setups I ever switched it to and it only cost me a little under $200.- Dantrom
