    .223 Savage bolt rifle question

    Ive shot a 223 extensively out to 800yards using bullets up 77gr. Anything past 600 is tough. 500 yds works, but beyond 600 i would not bet very much on.

    I am wanting to try cerakote, but dont sandblast. I was hoping some one had tried it using sandpaper to scuff up the material. Ah well.

    Range Report 500 yard plus ranges in western Missouri?

    Big Piney is probably closer to 200 miles. It has scheduled events that are open to the public, but outside of that it is members and guests only. Near Camdenton there is Roling Hills rifle and pistol club. Its a members only range, I think they only have a facebook page for contact info.

    Anyone with Teludyne barrel sleeve experience?

    Seems like an idea worth investigating. Has anyone used this? If so, do you need to start over in load development? Does it really extend barrel life? I'd hate to install this and then burn out a barrel in a couple thousand rounds. How satisfied were you with the work Teludyne did for you?
