    Ammo run

Things are calming down. A couple weeks backorder on some things, but primers, powder, and bullets have all 3 flowed in modest time for me in the last month. Ammunition- locally most calibers, including 5.56 m855 and M-193 are available on the shelf with a small price increase. 300 blackout...

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

Ran it with the CAR and H1 today after installing a new Anderson gas tube and Bravo co gas block using the gas block genie and an alignment "knockout" pin. H1 failed to function 100% yet again. CAR buffer ran all reloads. Did not try subsonic, as I am pretty sure they will fail. At this...

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

I am hoping you are right, but the Sig load with 125 smk's @ 2200 fps should have functioned flawlessly with the H1 buffer. BCM has specific instructions that their barrels should function supers with H2 or H3 and subsonics with no suppressor with a CAR buffer. Parts in hand and thinking over...

    300 BLK Load Data

Hornady 110 GMX @ 2.22" OAL Winchester new brass ran over expander (OAL was very consistent this batch) CCI 41 H110 @ 20.0 Gr 2400 fps in 16" BCM chrome lined bbl ETA, a second range trip on a 70 degree day yielded some ejector swipes. 19.4 grains @ 2350 with no pressure signs on a third try...

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

Faxon or Wilson recon were 2 others I was considering. The Wilson has a pistol gas, but many say the carbine length gas should work. I am willing to test another block, spring, and gas tube to see if that is it. I remember reading somewhere that not all gas tubes are necessarily the same...

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

I believe the gas port is 0.109. the YHM block had a 0.125 diameter. (measured by inserting 7/64" and 1/8" drill bits). They advertise this barrel as being set up to shoot supersonics with an H2 or H3 buffer and subs with the Car buffer.

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

Going to update this for others looking. The BCM barrel has had issues. YHM gas block, LBE tube. Anderson bolt Brownells spring. Started with a H3 buffer as BCM recommended. Would not cycle anything fed to it. Tested 3 bullets up to max load with H-110, 110 GMX, 110 tac-tx, 110 vmax...

    Any 300BLK 110 GMX loads?

Reached 2400 fps with 20.0 grains of H-110 gave minor brass mark with no primer issues. 2.22" OAL as the LE round is listed at. The book shows 2.21" OAL max. Accuracy nothing to write home about, I'm accuracy testing back down the ladder a half grain next. Suggestion for Mods: I think the...

Reloading For The AR-15: Hornady 75 Grain BTHP

Still shooting the T1C I got in bulk as blems a few years back. I use 23.6 gr 8208 xbr. I just stuffed them on my 77 gr smk load and found that I get about 2700 fps out of a 16" DDM4V5. The 77 gr load moves at ~2660 fps. Both very accurate from 5 different ar's (others are bcm and criterion...

    Welcome to Kermit WV.

The pharmacists and doctors are well known to everyone. They are being taken down methodically. I think those that are left are being investigated for deeper distribution ties.

    Welcome to Kermit WV.

"Quality drivel always contains a small morsel of truth". I have seen that quoted here before. The article lost me when the author went on the DNC party line assault on AG Morrisey. They successfully sold him as a carpet bagger to the state in the last election in order to keep Joe Manchin...

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

BCM enhanced fluted w/ carbine gas wins. 242.10 on sale this weekend @ primary arms. Now, ffs, everyone quit panick buying shit. I can't find shit worth buying in 110 - 125 grain hunting bullets.

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

Interesting bullet choices! Especially as I will be reloading. The 1:7 twist barrels are looking more attractive with those bullet options. LOTS of new stuff to absorb on that last link. Thanks!

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

I looked earlier today on the WOA site after he posted that, no luck (did not think of them as I'd never heard of a WOA 300 blk). Thanks for the reply on the barrel specs. Noted and leaning that way hard, as carbine gas seems to hold the same benefits as my mid length gassed Ar's I have built...

Virginia Colleges Extending Spring Break and Then Going Online

WVU joined this crowd. This shit is waaay premature IMHO. This bug will curve like the flu, no doubt. I have severe doubts about our ability to "flatten the curve" on a superbug. When all returns to normal it will hit the population in full force. Then we will replay this game all over...

    16" 300 Blackout Barrel Choice

Ok gents, I am currently building a 16" 300 BLK for hunting and varmint control. So far, I have Anderson parts, UBR stock, Wilson M2 trigger and American Defense M-Lok 13.5" handguard. Spikes T2 and CAR buffers on hand. (everything but the suppressor and barrel are currently on hand/on order...

    AR15 BCG Recommendation

Anderson bcg's have been as reliable for me as their receivers. Very good for the price. $88 at Primary arms and they have been running a lot of 12% off sales.

    Ammo run

Yes, because the draconian gun ban and confiscations Northam and Bloomberg tried in Virginia starting at this time had nothing to do with the ammo run...… MSM propaganda.

    Still supprting the NFL?

F' the NFL. I have not watched a game since they publicly supported the kneeler and will not have it on in my home. They can slide the way of the Dodo bird into history along with the NBA and baseball for all I care. We invented football. It can and will eventually be replaced if it goes...
