Stolen Truck - Tulsa, OK

2008 and Older heavy duty Ford trucks are very easy to steal if factory spec. The door handles get punched and the bad guy can be in your truck and be driving off in it in less than 45 seconds. They have been the number 1 most stolen vehicle in the Dallas Area for a while. The first thing...

Basic AR-15, with 4X acog? One of my "favs"

I carry a 16" ar15 as my patrol rifle. It has a 15" free float slim midwest industries hand guard. It has backup iron sights, an eotech and a flashlight. I also added a bennie cooley compensator. The rifle is light, fast, accurate, and has minimal recoil. Working nights the flashlight and...

The forward assist is part of the new PSC-12 upper. The PSC uppers are now compatible with the DPMS style lowers. According to their website the standard JP LRP-07 lower is modified to accept the PSC upper. I think that these new uppers will continue to increase the popularity of the JP...

JP LRP 07 and LRP 07H

After much thoughtful research and debate I pulled the trigger on a JP PSC-12 build this morning. I have gotten to play with numerous precision Semi-auto .308s and I finally decided to go with JP. I don't think that I will be disappointed. Everyone I spoke with or e-mailed at JP went out...

Looking for some feedback on a JP LRP-07 build

The biggest difference you will find between the 16" and the 20" at extended ranges 800+ is how well the bullet fights the wind. On a calm day they are close to the same but on a windy day the added velocity helps. But if you are really looking at shooting a lot past 750 I would look at one...

    Jump in new PMs

I logged on today and found 253 "new" messages. It was really just 10 of every old PM I had saved. I have no idea why that happened. Anyone else have this problem?

    OT: Tankless water heaters

Re: OT: Tankless water heaters Those with Tankless systems. Are you using one large tankless system for the entire home or are you using multiple smaller tankless heaters for the different areas of the home?

    OT: Tankless water heaters

We are building a new home and are trying to decide whether to use a tankless water heater, water heater with recirculator or just a regular water heater. The house is electric and propane. My concern is that since the house is propane I'd like to be as efficent as I can and not waste propane...

    Anyone have a Sig 716?

Re: Anyone have a Sig 716? I did reshoot the 168bthp ammo and was able to maintain my group size. I also tested some 173gr FMJ match ammo reloads that stayed under 2moa. You are right. my next plan is to find a few different types of ball ammo and test it.

    Anyone have a Sig 716?

Re: Anyone have a Sig 716? I took the 716 out to the range again and the Win 168bthp shot about 1.5" again. And again the 147fmj shot about 8" group. This is very disappointing! The standard SIG716 is being sold as a battle rifle, as such it...

    Anyone have a Sig 716?

Re: Anyone have a Sig 716? I took the rifle out to the range for a quick trip. The rifle seemed to group about 1.5-2MOA at 100yds with Winchester 168hthp. Some of this may be operator error and may be correctable. I was disappointed in my groups from Winchester white box 147fmj, 8MOA...

    9mm Carbines ?

Re: JustRight Carbines ? I went with a 5" barrel to ensure that factor 147gr bullet stay subsonic. This is a dedicated suppressed rifle and the suppressor side inside the handguardabout four inches. The complete rifle with can is shorter than a fixed stock MP5. If you decide to shoot...
