    I have used a few, they all work well and hold zero without issue. They are heavy for what they are. I always prefer a canted rail and rigs of the proper height. That gives more mounting flexibility for height and scope fore and aft to get proper eye relief.

    That is just because of the law of statistics, more people carry dull knives than sharp knives. To that those of us who keep a knife sharp also most likely know how to safely use a knife / are more familiar with using knives. IMO a person who is lazy enough to carry a dull knife is lazy enough...

    I had 3 or 4 back when they came out, they were turds. The ball would stick, or react slow. I could can’t my rifle almost 20° before the ball would move. I prefer a bubble. But maybe they have improved since then, it was a long time ago.

    I am sure it will be 100% as accurate as 65lbin but that probably has more to do with the stock than the action. 3lbin is within the tolerance of most torque wrenches.

    Why are some of y’all saying 65lbin is a lot? That is pretty much standard for most all actions with most stocks / chassis except maybe non pillar bedded wood or the cheap factory plastic stocks.

    Absolutely not! I mean by hand: take any slop out of the action wrench to action fit by light pressure in the CCW direction and then by hand a quick very forceful snap to break the action free. It works pretty well

    Agreed, I had 2 GAP built B prefix Surgeon action based rifles many years ago. I haven’t owned a better action, some as good but none really better.
