TRG appreciation thread - Part III

Mine didnt arrive yet, the guys at the shop told me it arrived but confused my order with another one😪😪😪

Since i was there i could at least have a quick look and the mag was rattling like an absolute piece of garbage.

Never even needed the adjustment on the old ones, not sure if the M10 has the same feature. Thought i'd ask here since this would be a nogo for me within that price range.

Honestly i think there is a solution, just would like to know about it. Cant believe Sako would accept this kind of play with the magazine.
Ahh I see, not sure how the backbone works on the m10 but the old trg you could move the bolt position for the fore end where it contacted the magazine. Pretty simple

I´ve had this idea for a long time and few months back I contacted my local small print shop and told them what I would like to have. After few sketches they printed me some garments. I ordered some more for few more guys that shoot TRG´s here in Finland. Photos go quickly around social media and guys seem to like this. 😁

They should still have the template in stock. I think they can ship to other countries too if you ask them via email: [email protected]

The website is in finnish but here it is anyway https://www.oulunpaitapaino.fi/

I have no affiliation with that print shop. I just had this idea and thought I´d share if anyone else wants a cool TRG hoodie or shirt. I also have a black one and the text is in white on that one.

Ofcourse you have to know Run-D.M.C. for this to make any sense...😅

What is your experience with these mounts? I am looking for a bit more height than my Spuhr mount offers due to my night vision equipment. The higher mount is way too high🫣
Thought this might work out since there are different sets of ring height available.

Sadly its missing a bubble level but well...

I am looking to avoid a picrail since the one from Sako seems to be crap and the one from near is hard to get in europe.

What about those inserts? Are they recommended to use, not needed?

Oh and btw, Sako stopped producing the phosphated versions. If you want one you better go and hurry.

I have used a few, they all work well and hold zero without issue. They are heavy for what they are. I always prefer a canted rail and rigs of the proper height. That gives more mounting flexibility for height and scope fore and aft to get proper eye relief.

Have three of them and they work fine. No issues, so haven't had any reason to use other mounts.

Only the 30mm rings come with the plastic inserts and they do not work without them. 34mm rings do not have the inserts, just steel around the scope tube.

ETA: I prefer mounting direct to the Sako dovetail, but you can order a Near rail directly from Richard. Also have seen the rails in some Norwegian or Swedish webshop, but can't remember the name atm.
