    My GAP-10 Setup/ What scope to go with?

    I'm going with a Vortext 2.5-10x32 PST. Has great glass, loaded with features (FFP, illum, SF), and gets me where I need to go for a heavy semi-auto. Best value optic for its class IMO. If I need more precision than what a 10x top end can offer, I have bolt guns topped with S&B 5-25.

    Pretty easy to see why you migrated to the 7/300. That's like 5 mils at 1,000 yards, and with a pretty good deal of authority! 7 SAUM isn't really a slouch though.

    I think that the ATACR is overpriced. IMO, you're paying for the NF name. Rob01 is spot on; go with the Vortex Gen II. The Gen II 1-6 has glass clarity that's pretty much on par with my 5-25 S&B.
