    Anyone here running a 5 round AICs mag for 223 , if so what make, where did you buy and is it running smoothly? I have a 10 round accurate mag but want a 4 rounder for hunting.

    spotting scope - angled vs. straight

    I simply hate angled spotters, find it difficult to come onto tgts fast with them and find it unconfortablr looking down into them(completely opposite to fursniper!!) I much prefer straight spotters, its what we use at work and I suppose its what I am used to.

    We run the AI suppressor in a 338 version on our AW 338s and 308, they attach over the brakes.Noise reduction is excellent regardless of which calibre we shoot

    necro thread I know but its a really interesting one .Heres my contribution , a 308 165gr accutip shot at 180m on a fallow deer,heart/lung shot and found under the skin on the far side.Deer dropped on the spot.

    I got rid of mine as I got sick of the sloppyness and it kept deploying unintentionally on me too.I have an atlas on at the moment ,slower to deploy but a better set up allround imho.

    I have one of these and they are very accurate. in its old AICS here it is in viperskins and with 2 fallow prickets it took on opening day of this season
