    Re: How to handle classified situation Sounds like it might be a 419 scam. It will be obvious if you receive the MO for more than you asked... this will lead to the buyer asking you to wire a 3rd part the difference. The MO will turn out to be fake.

    Re: torque on aluminum bedded stock I have a 700 LTR in .308 mounted in a B&C Varmit/Tac stock. The LE armorer who originally built the rifle gave me a sheet with all the torque values he recommends for the rifle. For the main mount screws: 65 in/lbs.

    Re: precision rifles... show em I've got a pretty humble smoke pole compared to most in these photos... but.. but... it's only my *first* one 700 LTR in .308 with B & C V/T stock, CDI bottom metal, Badger bolt knob, Farrel scope rail, Burris rings and SWFA SS 3-9 FFP Mil/Mil scope.

    Re: What's with the all false "In-stock" companies? Yeah, that is a pet peeve of mine, too. I've taken to calling beforehand to check specifically whether or not they *actually* have it there, ready to ship. If not (and I need it quickly) I look elsewhere. It can be very annoying.
