    TRG Rifles picture thread.....??

Re: TRG Rifles picture thread.....?? All of the threads and pics about the TRGs have done it, I'm getting my dealer to order me a TRG 22 green stock/phosphate barrel once I have my custom .338 paid off. I will probably go with the Sako bipod and the Near Alphamount. This place is costing...

Note to those using suppressors &Jewell triggers

Re: Niote to those using suppressors &Jewell triggers Glad everyone was okay and I appreciate you sharing the story. I think it illustrates well that sometimes stuff happens no matter how well you plan and train.

    6.5 20" barrel velocity?

Re: 6.5 20" barrel velocity? Tag for future comments. I have a 20" .260 bolt gun in route so I am curious to see any other input here. From what I have noticed in reading other posts here and abroad the shorter barrels don't seem to lose as much velocity when you're talking higher end...

    New Favorite Toy (300 Whisper)

Re: New Favorite Toy (300 Whisper) Sweet setup. I have a 10.5" Noveske .300 Whisper(Fireball) barrel that will get a build here someday. I have a SWR Trident can that will due multiple duty including use for some subsonic .300 Whisper rounds.

Re: M14/M1A dudes No barrel and particularly no bolt makes it not a deal to me. Drill rifle makes sense given the no bolt & no barrel.

Worth the effort/expense to free float an AR?

Re: Worth the effort/expense to free float an AR? From what I understand some of the piston AR uppers can take a bit of work to use with a rail system. Truth be told I don't follow the piston uppers too much as they are not in my current interests at the moment. That being said all of my...

    M&P15-22 problems

Re: M&P15-22 problems I'm glad I saw and read this thread. I have one but so far it only has about 200 rounds through it. No problems to report yet, and hopefully never. I bought this for my boys as a trainer for them to work upto the centerfire AR15s so I'd hate for it to go FA with one...

    Gunsmithing Another coating question......

Re: Another coating question...... When coating anything I've built I try to coat everything broken down as much as possible. I even coat my AK receivers before I rivet in the trunions and then re-spray the entire receiver after installing the trunions & final riveting.

Suppressors Ever had a day that you did something stupid?

Re: Ever had a day that you did something stupid? Wow, that sucks. Sounds like it got you pretty good. As long as you (and us since you shared) learn from it then it's all good. Glad it wasn't any more serious. As a somewhat related story, I would just like to add for anyone here that...

Suppressors My new carry piece "The Springfield EMP"

Re: My new carry piece "The Springfield EMP" Nice! These are some nice little packin' pieces. Canyon Creek does some nice mods to these little Springfields: magwells, grip work, etc. Saw some of his work so if you ever want some custom work, and who doesn't :), you can check him out here...

Suppressors Problem with my M9 vertec

Re: Problem with my M9 vertec I would say the same, load looks a little too light to me. Alliant lists data on there website so you can check there or a newer manual. The Alliant site looks like it only lists max data which is 5.8g for a 124g Gold Dot. You can reference it here: Alliant...

    Which tumbler/media???

Re: Which tumbler/media??? I recently got the Hornady ultrasonic case cleaner but haven't used it yet. Bought it mostly for 5.7x28 cases as they have a coating that tumbling will damage over time. I use a midway/frankford arsenal tumbler with corn cob media and frankford arsenal tumbler...

Planning To Buy Reloading Equipment-Where To Start

Re: Planning To Buy Reloading Equipment-Where To Start I always recommend the RCBS Rockchucker Kit as a good place to start. It comes with almost all of the stuff besides dies and components to start loading. A lot of people like Redding and while I would agree that Redding dies are nicer...

    Movie Theater Kick-Ass

Re: Kick-Ass Yeah, my son wanted me to let him watch it because he said it was PG-13. I told him I wasn't an idiot and know it is R-rated. He should try a new game as every movie he wants to see he tells me is PG-13. Definitely not one for the kiddies, LOL.

    Movie Theater Run Ronnie Run!

Re: Run Ronnie Run! I haven't seen Trailer Park Boys but Eastbound & Down is hilarious. I am waiting for the second season to arrive at Netflix. I don't have HBO or whatever channel it comes on so I have to wait for disk. I'll have to check out Trailer Park Boys. And WHAT was the guy in...

    Movie Theater Machete

Re: Machete I don't think it is a remake of a B movie but I could be wrong. This was a trailer in the movie release of Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse movies. There were guest trailers by various directors for movies that did not exist and this one was popular enough to warrant them malking...

Movie Theater Hot Tub Time Machine

Re: Hot Tub Time Machine I pushed 32 and I have seen it three times so far. No doubt I'll watch it again. Different strokes for different folks but I can't see why anyone wouldn't find this funny.

    Movie Theater TAKEN

Re: TAKEN Definitely a great movie. All movies are a bit unbelievable and that's why they are fake. No one wants to see realism all the time at the cineplex, I don't anyway. For the matter of believablity, a lot of stories we read from history seem unbelievable but they happened. I can't...
