    SHOT worthless w/o public access

Not asking for that. I need an expo to know what is available. There are a vast number of items at SHOT that are scheduled to be available in the future. That's valuable information.

    SHOT worthless w/o public access

Irrelevant. The user still has no knowledge of available products unless it is mentioned online. Salesmen(who went to SHOT) are not likely to mention all the options. Many facets of our hobby are being limited in this way. Who else is developing a change-out barrel system? Drone range...

    SHOT worthless w/o public access

I am disappointed in the fact that I am dependent on a search engine like Google to try and find a suitable target system for ELR. Target camera's and hit indicators have dramatically advanced(technologically) in the past year or two. Why can't I see them in one place rather than depending on...

Mostly shoot starting at dawn. For range of targets and distances, I run the numbers for come-ups for current temp, then plus 5, 10 and 15 degrees. These cards are darn handy after you've shot a year.

    338 Cheytac improved (snipetac)

That may indeed be the case. I recall checking the inside of all my used brass with a paper clip with a dog-leg in it.

    338 Cheytac improved (snipetac)

I have a hydraulic die from Viers for forming. In 2010, I had a lot of fun with 300 scenars; later the first Berger hybrids. Settled on a load of 142 grains of H50BMG; brass would last about 6 firings. IIRC there were folks pushing 150 grains but the brass wouldn't last but two firings...

    Magnetospeed buckle and strap repair

Seems I've broken two buckles in just the last 6 months; I have been measuring every single shot since going to ELR comps. I was an early adopter and have plastic buckles on both of my bayonets. I carried a spare but that only lasted so long before it broke as well. The buckle is sewn on...

I ended up trying some N570 for the 377 grain CEB MTAC's. My magnetospeed is acting up so I had to "do the math" to figure the MV otherwise I would post the ladder test info. The best looking load yielded 3025fps i.e. 118.4 grains in my 33" barrel . Next up are 402MTAC's and Retumbo.

Switching from 375MTH to 377MTAC bullets. So far performance is a direct 1:1; DOPE is lining up all the way out to 3185y. The less expensive bullet is flying just the same.

Anyone 3D print Magnetospeed Sporter rail mount?

The one thing I searched high and low for was a picattiny adapter that just had a blank area that could be customized. Repurposing some cheap scope mounts; a 3d part would be lighter. Add 1/2" rod. You can put a small flat on the rod to add another short section atop it to move the sensor...
