    Custom Build Turnaround Times

I bought an off the shelf 6.5 Creedmoor rifle on a Defiance action from AO, they typically have a few. The rifle shoots great, and I am totally pleased. Only wait was shipping time from them to my FFL.

6 mm BR barrel length why so damn long

My TL3 6 Dasher has a 24 inch barrel and easily manages 2,950 fps with 107 gr SMK and 4166. I'm sure I could get close to 3,000 but I've got an accurate node and there is no reason to push the limit to hit 3,000.

Rifle Scopes Help with kahles 6-24 eye relief

I just used a set of ARCs to mount a Kahles and they worked great on a T6A stocked rifle.

    6 dasher vs 6br vs 6xc

I just fired some hydroformed dasher brass with 32.5 grains of 4166 and got 2940 FPS with 107 grain Sierras from a 24 inch barrel. It looks like I can find a good node somewhere around there. I don’t think I will try driving them over 3,000 fps

    Building custom....which action????

Have you asked defiance what a new bolt will run you? I researched this for an Atlas Tactical and a new bolt was well over $400. A TL3 bolt head is $100, $150 tops. I like my defiance action but if you are interested in being able to swap barrels then the TL3 wins hands down. I’ll never swap...

    Handguards- M-Lok vs Key Mod?

Personal preference only but I don't want something on my rifle that looks like it belongs on garage shelving. MLOK for me.

I just picked up 3 boxes of new 6BR Lapua on accurate shooter forum and it wasn't a bad price either.

    Gunsmithing Muzzle threads

I’m doing the same thing for a .223AI and will have it threaded 5/8x24. I want more meat at the muzzle. My only concern was giving up a little effectiveness on the brake when the can is not on due to the .30 cal aperture on the brake vs the .223 caliber aperture on the .223 brake. I figured...

    Gunsmithing Recommendations for barrel install?

I’ve had LRI do action blueprinting and barreling on two rifles now and they shoot great. The best part is the turnaround time. Weeks instead of months. Not sure how they do it but I’ve got another build almost ready to send to them.

    ARC Nucleus vs. Bighorn Origin

I was saving up for a TL3, but I think I am going to preorder an Origin. So many great choices becoming available.

    AMP vs. EZ-anneal

I bought the EZ Anneal, took it out of the box and was annealing cases within minutes. Easy to set up and works great. I don't see a big advantage either way to the AMP and I don't want to buy pilots either. I don't care about the testing and settings that AMP provides, I know how to set up...

223: MDT vs Accurate Mag follow-up

I had horrible luck with the AI mags so I ordered a couple of the Accurate mags. I had to do some work on the plastic inserts because my .223AI chamber is throated long. My COAL with Hornady 75 grain ELDs is 2.55. I've got the inserts adjusted now so that I can feed those rounds no problem.

    AMP

I've got the EZ Anneal induction annealer and it has been great. Their automatic case feeder is already available for sale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hunting/Target Spotter Reccomendations?

If you shop carefully you should be able to score a great used Swarovski ATS or STS for under 2K, either a 65 or 80mm. If you can find one of those in your price range you will not regret it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
