This has been a very educational thread. Summarized below.
1. Someone is very angry
2. You shouldn't have to train to use things effectively
3. If yours does not have a problem, it does in fact have a problem
No kidding. So Premiers are pieces of shit...but you won't know it when you use them? I'm happy with mine so far, nothing seems to be binding at all but mine is in a dreaded LaRue mount (gasp) at 20lb.
So I've got a great little Kidd that I really want to SBR with a 12" barrel and a folding stock. The issue I still want an adjustable cheek riser. Are there any stocks or chassis out there like the AICS 2.0 for the 10/22?
Obligatory pics of rifle :)
I had the bushnell DMR. I think it is a great bang for your buck scope to start out with, but you asked for high end and I don't think it is. Out of those three I would go with the mark 6. Best price I've seen on them is at liberty so give them a call. I just upgraded to the PR 5-25x56 gen...
I have used LaRue with great results. I take it on and off multiple times at home and it always goes right back to the same spot when I'm back at the range. When my PR gets in it will be going between my 700 and my tOBR. People here have a problem with LaRue but they are top notch IMO.
I have a PR 5-25 on its way here from him. He was very helpful in answering all the questions I had. I would not hesitate to send more business to him.
I got mine yesterday. 18" 7.62 and holy shit it is amazing. I likely won't get it to the range before next Friday but I'm very impressed with the build quality.
