    Check snipercountrypx.com They usually have a least one LH R700 for sale in .308. Most of the time they have a lefty SPS varmint but occasionally they will have a lefty 700P.

    I would say something in the 3-15x range with a good FFP holdover reticle. That new Bushnell 3-12 LRHS might be just the ticket.

    Rifle Scopes SOCOM II Ring Height

    If you have the socom II without the extended rail that comes all the way back to the stripper clip guide then GG&G makes a cantilevered 30mm one piece mount specifically for the socom II. The tricky part with any M1A is getting the comb hight up to make for a good cheek weld.
