    How exactly would this be Remington's fault?? I would recommend you call Timney. They are very helpful and more than willing to talk you thru adjusting the trigger over the phone. I've had to do it before but not for the issue you are experiencing.

    I bought a left handed 700P LTR back in the spring and it came with the X-Mark Pro trigger. I'm not sure if the trigger was because it was a lefty model or what but if you are after a 40x trigger you might want to ask before purchase.     Seriously....don't buy "stuff" with student loans. You will be paying for it long after the barrel burns out if you shoot seriously. Stick with what you have. I bought a gun I'm still paying for when I was in college...I'm 32 now.

    OCW, next step?

    I went back today and tested in 0.1 grain increments from 44.4 to 44.8. 44.5 looks like the ticket, the group was 0.6" edge to edge. I shot all test groups round robin. Next I plan to load 20 rounds or so to shoot over a chrono to check the speed and consistency. Also shoot a few out at 500-600...
