    To be fair, my MIL is a perfectly pleasant, nice woman. However 2, 12 hour days in a car traveling I feel like I'm climbing the walls. You guys know how it is, travelling with someone is completely different than day to day life.

    Yeah I kind of agree, my folks snowbird in AZ, which as it turns out is a pretty awesome place. Now they just need to get their butts in gear and get home for when / if this whole thing goes pear shaped.

    Tips on forming Kydex?

    A heat gun is how I made hundreds of sheathes. I would just start with a rectangle piece that will overlap the cheek rest completely. Then wrap the cheek rest with a few layers of tin foil, put the warm kydex over foil, then let the edges wrap around a little so you have a clear place to trim to.

    Not on the Northside, but Hudson Rod and gun is about a half hour away from you, they have shooting out to 200 and great winter pistol shooting. Also it's only $150 per year, or if you do 8 hours it becomes 75.
