Atlas on my centerfires, knock off on my rimfire,. Picked up the knock off for $50 at a gun show, did not realize it until I got home.
I also have a few Harris but they are in a bin somewhere
I will fully admit that aftermarket receivers are very nice cosmetically, and there is definitely pride in ownership.
Is there other factors I should consider?
So, not trying to troll or anything. But from an accuracy perspective, do you gain anything with high end aftermarket 700 receiver over a blue printed Remington receiver?
File cabinets are designed to hold a lot of weight at full drawer extention so they are great for tools / ammo/ components, and good old 50 Cal ammo cans are great for odds and ends.
Also a label maker will save you hours of headaches.
I like my fvsr in a rigid alloy chassis. It took a lot of polishing on the bolt to remove the god awful finish they put on it, but now it cycles like glass and is accurate as all get out.
I was ringing steel at 200 yards last weekend.
Not exactly new, but a great piece of kit for the money.
Older b&l spotting Scopes from the 50's and 60's. The price for quality of image is a bargain as long as you can get a clean scope.
