That was an older 300 lumen TLR. The battery plate became unglued from the inner piece that holds it together so I swapped it for an X300 and am very happy with it. Thankfully, Streamlight’s customer service was excellent and shipped me a new battery plate at no charge.- bnanaphone

I picked this Guy up back in 2008 when the German police trade-ins got to market. I wanted to make it a little special so I sent it to Robar for their electroless nickel finish. I think the Nill grips really complete the look. It shoots just as good as it looks.- bnanaphone

Does anyone else have a somewhat oddball firearm that may not make a lot of sense but they wouldn't give up?
It is a solid frame. Apparently, it was a special order deluxe model with a pistol grip stock, checkering and shortened magazine tube. I asked around on the Marlin forum when I received it for more info.- bnanaphone

Does anyone else have a somewhat oddball firearm that may not make a lot of sense but they wouldn't give up?
A 1912-ish manufactured Marlin 1893 chambered in .32-40 with 32" hex barrel and case hardened-receiver. It was given to me by a family friend several years ago with 3 bullets. It is completely out of place in my safe but also a really cool piece to admire every now and again.- bnanaphone
