Do a tall target test at 100 yards to check the accuracy of your turrets. I’m really not sure what you’re trying to do with the above test, but there are much easier and more accurate ways to test your scope tracking accuracy and drops at range.
For sale: Vortex Razor AMG 6-24x50 (AMG-5) with EBR-7B MRAD reticle. I’m the original owner. It’s been to the range twice. Works flawlessly. It was mounted in NF rings and torqued to 15 in-lb. It’s in perfect condition as seen in the photos. I’m sure if you look hard enough there are some very...
@MikeRTacOps and @Terry Cross are absolute experts at building 308 rifles for police and govt that shoot factory ammo. More importantly, they are both outstanding gentlemen. Send them a pm and I’m sure they would expound on the issue. Terry is dealing with some hurricane damage so if he doesn't...

I have some fgmm 168 grain that does the same thing. There’s another thread where Mike from TacOps states there is a known issue with some lots of current fgmm being out of spec and hard to close the bolt.
Terry Cross also commented. Here’s the thread...

308, I was being serious, not poking fun at Mike or TacOps.that man knows how to make a rifle shoot in one hole, as witnessed by all the cardboard test fires he sends with his rifles. All, or almost all, are well under .100” groups.
No kidding. Maybe Mike can post a collage of his rifles shooting <.100" groups before leaving the factory. I doubt if he's ever had one that shot over .100".
