    MOA scope for NRL22

Ok. I see where you are going. We know that MOA and MIL are different units of measure, so they are going to have different number of turns. I still don’t see that either is an advantage though. I have used both and can’t see any advantage to either beyond how you calculate your adjustments and...

    MOA scope for NRL22

I can’t tell what you are asking. If you are asking about MOA vs MIL, it is just a unit of measure, so it is purely user preference. Just being MOA doesn’t really affect it beyond you being able to follow it.

Any 22LR that compare with Vudoo?

As people have said, you don't need a Vudoo to win matches. I've seen people shoot great with inexpensive rifles and cheap ammo. There are lots of choices nowadays, but it comes down to consistency. Sometimes, you will have good luck with factory stuff, but there is a reason that people upgrade...

Rifle Scopes Ares BTR vs Ares ETR - size comparison only

I recently picked up another Ares, so I thought I would show some pics comparing the BTR to the ETR for anyone curious. I wish I still had a Cronus to throw in there, as it has been my favorite scope so far. I haven’t gotten to mount them both for comparisons, and hopefully I can get to that...

    Tikka T1X

I have shot a small amount of the basic flat nose and I thought it did really well in my Vudoo. It was just in low stock and rifle match was on sale and in plenty of supply so I never tried the flat nose again. I would suggest giving it a try.

Sweet Spot for 22LR Target ammo

Depends on your target and what you are shooting at. CCI SV can hold MOA for the most part and is cheap. If you are shooting 1/4 targets and want to take out the fliers, you probably want to shoot something else, but based on your comment of practicing fundamentals, you should be fine. I think...

Sweet Spot for 22LR Target ammo

Usually the powder burn rate, adjusted for barrel lengths. Could be a variety of things depending on manufacturer, but that is usually the most important item.

Sweet Spot for 22LR Target ammo

My Vudoo loved the SK Rifle Match and CenterX. I haven’t tested my other rifles the way I tested it.

Best place to buy a CZ455?

Agreed. First place I would look if you don’t have a local shop. Use the search function and it will give you a list of places and prices.

Rifle Scopes Options to Cronus BTR under $1300

Even with that MAP pricing, they still sell much lower, just not $1300 or lower. I’m sure Doug has a good price considering the pricing I’ve gotten on another scope from him and the quotes I have received from a local dealer. I will call Doug if I buy one or the ETR to compare to my local guy.

Rifle Scopes Options to Cronus BTR under $1300

Don’t worry about that link. It is more than $1300 and by the time you add their credit card charge and shipping, you are going to be around Doug’s price. Better to support a supporting vendor who you know is going to deliver and have it in stock. You don’t want to have to deal with the secret...

Rifle Scopes Options to Cronus BTR under $1300

Killing me man! I miss mine and have been looking to down grade. I can’t pull the trigger on the Ares because I remember how much I like the Cronus.

Rifle Scopes Options to Cronus BTR under $1300

Cronus at that price range all the way. It’s features are better compared to scopes above its price range unlike others just cheaper.

    Ammo

Check out Grafs for Center-x as well. It is on sale every now and then, was last week, for $10.17 a box. Shipping is also a flat $7.99 all the time. Their SK Rifle match which I love was the cheapest I had seen around, but it has jumped up in the last couple months. Pistol Match is still $5.99.

Rifle Scopes Looking for more magnification.

That scope is a great combination for both because of the low range option. I really like the Cronus, but as others have said, you won’t see much difference from 25-30 on the high end. If you are looking to stay with FFP, there are not many high mag scopes. I do have a SB 10-50 in the...
