    Well, that's not right

Using the power of google there were a couple of posts on AR15.com and Reddit talking about the same issue dated to a few years ago too. I found one that goes back to 2019.

Vortex is pretty cool, Ominus Dominus, let's move on

    Well, that's not right

I'd read somewhere that Vortex had had a bad batch of reticles that had this issue several years back, seems like it caught up to us.

    Well, that's not right

What model is yours and how old is it?

    Well, that's not right

I'll say this, Vortex earned some major points in my book when they took care of those that got fucked over by Scott/Liberty Optics by fulfilling their orders at the price they paid LO for. Vortex didn't have to do that but they took that mantle on and made them whole, demonstrating once again...

5.56 SPR Upper Build Steps & Tools: 16" Rosco K9 Intermediate Gas Barrel + BCM Demo Upper + KAK 13" Handguard

I didn't have any hot glue but I had some steel putty so I gave it a shot. I rolled a ball about the size of a marble and dropped it down inside and instead of electrical tape I used a couple pieces of 3M aluminum tape to shim the bottom. It's pretty gutentight I must say.

Vortex, always on the cutting edge of shooting technology.

    Well, that's not right

I've seen pictures of the issue but never first hand. I'll add it to the list of things I've seen with other broken scopes to include broken wire reticles, debris on internal lenses, detached internal lenses, dented tubes and snapped off oculars.

    Well, that's not right

Getting ready for a two gun match this past weekend I noticed on Thursday that something seemed off with my Vortex PST II 1-6 and upon closer inspection, yep the fiber wire for the red dot was detaching from the vertical stadia. Despite the dot ending up where it's at, the optic was still...

    Flat Coil Buffer Springs?

I can't say, usually people figure it out on their own and/or don't follow up, my mentioning of it was anecdotal.

    Flat Coil Buffer Springs?

I feel like most people get them because it doesn't make the sproingy sound. Almost every time someone has an issue with an A5 buffer system I've also noticed that they're using a flat wire spring too. Coincidence? I'm just saying that other than a bit of extra noise, milspec springs work...

    My Inexpensive Tac Table Solution

I salvaged the ones I have off of a broken stock but you can buy similar plates online. https://warsawwoodco.com/mlok-panel/ I'm not sure I'll regularly mount stuff to the table but I'll have the option.

    My Inexpensive Tac Table Solution

I'm 90% done with this one, just going to paint it over the weekend. It's not pretty but it's functional. - 6" X 9" mini bamboo cutting board - Low profile Arca plate - Jessup non skid tape - MLOK inserts - 10-32 screws and hardware

    My Inexpensive Tac Table Solution

I made one that similar to that too and it's worked well for quite a while. I'm going to try out a new one made from a bamboo cutting board I saw at the grocery store that will have some mlok inserts embedded in it, a non-skid surface, and a lower profile arca rail on the bottom. Maybe some...
