    Night Vision BNVD UL WP

Similar functionality but different. The Night Vision Devices BNVD-UL's housing doesn't have IP adjustment like the -31. The UL stands for Ultra Light and the only difference between a BNVD-UL and a regular BNVD are the optics. They're lighter weight than the PVS-14 optics that come with the...

Night Vision Pinnacle tubes....Ultra, VG, YG, HP, P+, P?

That’s good to hear from someone else. I’ve asked before how my HP+’s compare to Ultra’s and was told the same thing. Always wanted to see an ultra to gauge for myself

Night Vision Ditching BNVD's for something else

Not sure where I'd do this here don't see an NV sell section. I posted them on the "other" site's exchange. I love my BNVD's but after close to 2 years time on them I want to try something else like L3 unfilmed. All I've owned are pinnacles.

Night Vision Using thermal scope on pellet/bb rifle

I’m good on tanks, thanks for the info. I’m definitely going with a pcp gun. Been keeping watch looking for used.

Night Vision Using thermal scope on pellet/bb rifle

Thanks for the info. Checking out the Armada since it has a pic rail but not sure if the Pulsar qd Mount will clear the rotary mag.

Night Vision Using thermal scope on pellet/bb rifle

Budget wise I’d like to stay under $500 Projectile .17 or .22 Range probably within 50 yards or closer to 25 Mainly mice/rodents. Something quiet to not piss off the mrs in the middle of the night

Night Vision Using thermal scope on pellet/bb rifle

Thinking about this for my Trail XQ38 for night time pest control. I’ve never messed with these before. Anybody have recommendations? I’m thinking something like the Gamo Urban PCP .22. Pre charged air cylinder supposed to be good for 20-30 shots before needing to get recharged. 10 round rotary...

Night Vision Best pistol sights when running Night Vision monocular?

I knew I should've edited my edit ;). I meant "lost Augee's quote" as in I didn't attach it to my reply, so the edit was to attach it. Perhaps it came across as in you lost me? I'm tracking Augee. Online at least, it seems a lot of recreational folks new to nvd's are trying to match their kit...

Night Vision Best pistol sights when running Night Vision monocular?

Precisely this - running an rds on your carry gun with a rail mounted light (IR/vis vampire or white only) you keep the same muscle memory day or night. I prefer white light only so I'll never be in a situation needing vis light and discover it's on IR. The distances to use a pistol I've found...

Night Vision Pulsar Trail video record glitch

Anybody have their on board video recorded in Benny Hill fast forward mode? Happened to my Trail XQ38 tonight. Ruined a great video. Tried to slow mo it but still too choppy to use. Vid was only 6.9mb so it had to have saved skipped frames. Seems fine now.

Night Vision Best pistol sights when running Night Vision monocular?

You’ll love the red dot. That’s the best option IMO. The T Rex arms Ragnarok is an awesome holster. Rds cut, light compatible for G19, and the back has patterns for Safariland and Bladetech. I have multiple setups with the Safariland qls forks and receivers. Best way to switch setups without...

    Night Vision Best value laser/light?

If you want to be able to activate the light and laser at the same time (which you will) you can do it cheaper by using devices with their own pads and pressing together but it can be a pain. That’d be something like an OTAL and Protac IR. Most of the new options to use a dual pad can price you...

    Night Vision Thermal advice/input needed

I'm interested also. I've been using the viewfinder on the phone (awesome feature) and snatch the vids later using the cable to a laptop.

    Night Vision Thermal advice/input needed

Plywood, hole bit, & hand warmers did the trick. Great tip, thanks Hobbes442. Finishing nails worked good to hold them in place. Pic rail w/ QD sling hole and 550 cord works great for a neck lanyard using the Pulsar QD mount. Only downside is the XQ38 gets a little heavy if you're scanning a...

    Night Vision Thermal advice/input needed

I have to mention this for other thermal newbies - when I first posted and wigwamitus said the xq38 was the bottom of the barrel for hunting and the pts233 and rxq30v fuzz up quickly, I see what he means exactly. I'm glad I went the Pulsar route vs Flir. Having the adjustable focus IMO is a must...

What do you recommend for a decent and budget friendly tripod, mount, etc. I saw some pic rail adapters to go on ball mounts on Amazon but I have no idea what's what yet, lol.
