    thanks for the feedback. sounds like a vote of confidence in the barrel. I might just disassemble and check the lug and action. This is a new RAR serial number. I know older factory lugs were not known for consistency.

    Scar 17 20in barrel accuracy

    From what we have experienced, the Scar 20 platform is make for more sniper / accurate shots. The Scar 17 frame is just jumpy. Scar 20 seems to perform well enough. It would not be my first choice for a .308 accurate shooter, but it would make my top 10.

    Both are great scopes. You will pay a premium on ATACR to be built for the military, and when all is said and done, you are getting great optics with either. $800 sounds like quite a discount. We sell both, but you might have a better deal.
