    Best bullet for PRS-type shooting, 6mm GT, 7.5 twist

    I’ve shot over 1000 109 ELDs. Granted it was a 6 Creed but I’m not stepping on them. They are doing 3000 fps, and I have seen No drop in accuracy at any distance, out to 1400 so far. The barrel is a 1:7.5

    Tires? What to use them for (Props)

    I use them stacked 3-4 high unbolted/connected. We will often have a stage where the shooter will engage the target(s) remove a tire and repeat. Or do the opposite add tires after each series.

    Fehu outdoors kestrel nest on my tripod. Super easy. Unless I’ve hidden it in my pocket.

    Just an interesting data point for anybody shooting 109s and 110 a-tips Loaded 10 rounds @ 40 grains of 4451, cci450, jumping.040, 5 eld m 109, 5 a-tip 110. 5 fps difference no shift in poi. A-tip 3040. 109 3045

    6 MM Bbl.life ?

    I’m at 1700 rounds on my 1st barrel. I use it for club matches. The 1st 1200 rounds were 110 atips at 3060. The last 500 or so rounds have been 108s at 3000. Erosion has been steady at about .005 per 100 rounds. Still shoots like it did at 200 rounds, .5-.6. Haven’t seen the speed drop off...

    Dirty brass in bolt gun

    What are you using for case lube, and how are you removing it? Looks like you can see finger prints in the dirt. I see similar marks on the brass when it’s been fired wet, (I.e. rain snow). What were the conditions when fired? As a side note what action, barrel, and speed?

    i load 10 rounds at book min plus 1.0 grain. Run a ladder of 10-15 book min to something reasonable, jumping .010 to .030.     I used my 110 atip load with it. Same COTB, almost the same speed (50 fps slower). Shoots just as good as the 110 just with a lower bc Didn’t even change my zero. I‘m not near my data right now. But if I remember correctly it’s 40 grains 4451 at 3000 fps. ~2.775 COAL.
