Night Vision Custom USB power supply options for Thermal and NV

That would be the hot ticket.

Night Vision USB to Fischer adapter

Anyone interested in a USB to Fischer adapter? With an internal voltage regulator, you can run your devices using a standard cable in a rechargeable pack. The 4 pin Fischer is pretty much the standard port, though I could do Lemo as well.

Night Vision Custom USB power supply options for Thermal and NV

Actually not hard. Two straight Fischer 7 pin connectors split to a USB. Using a constant on type pack like the Voltaic, you can run these for 5-6 hours easy.

Night Vision NV vs Thermal Effective Ranges

You can add a riser or change the scope mount height for full testing purposes. I have scopes with assorted mounts on hand, so for me it's easy.

Night Vision NV vs Thermal Effective Ranges

The good way to check for collimation in on a test rail and target. I use our ELR test rig, a long rail on a 6- lb jig and the 100 yard test target. I use a nail as the aiming point, align the day scope on center. Torch the nail a bit for a small hot spot, mount the thermal an dial as needed...

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Certainly seemed fine, a little more perceptible delay from 70F, but that's it.

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

You can leave the unit on for 10+ hours and run scan mode for 5 and use no more that 50% of a 5000mAh battery pack, if that's important.

Night Vision Realistic accuracy expectations with a thermal

Set your day scope on 3x and shoot a group. Given that the thermal will have somewhat more trouble with a fine point to aim on, you will be a bit less precise than the 3x day sight. That said, you will be "minute of critter" at all ranges at which you can actually identify a target.

Cone drilling for 338 Lapua and 308

You cannot have suppressor parts alone, a set of baffles is itself a suppressor as per ATF regulations, like it or not. You cannot just swap baffle stacks. Most rifle cans are sealed in any event. Buy a .338 can and the mounts for each rifle, you can always shoot smaller calibers, so long as...

Night Vision Custom USB power supply options for Thermal and NV

About $350, the Sidekick only needs a USB-C connector, no battery cell or cap system

Night Vision Custom USB power supply options for Thermal and NV

Normally $450, depending on options, that's based on DC plugs and 24" overall length. Changing to Fischer plugs for a complete waterproof system would add to that. I'm not sure any of the Fischers would fit the 14, maybe a waterproof Lemo?

Night Vision Custom USB power supply options for Thermal and NV

Parts in stock for DC plugs, Lemo and Fischer cables, 4 pin and 7 pin types. This supports the BNVD's, I have printed cap adapters for the DTNVS, PVS-14, IR Patrol's and COTI's. Other cap adapters can be created. USB battery packs and standard NVG packs like the L3, AB, Argus and Nocturn are...

Night Vision Going dual tube thermal - need opinions

I don't know of any way to really collimate a dual thermal setup. That said, I know a fair number of people run dual thermals and it does not seem to affect it, or them. YMMV.

Night Vision Custom USB power supply options for Thermal and NV

If it is not a splitter combined with some other cable, you just use a commercial USB C cable with the ends you want. Somthing like this would normally work. Angled USB C

Night Vision UTC-X USB power/data cable

Trijicon got back to me. They 'cannot divulge' this information. This despite the fact that the units shipped with a cable and finding the pinout from the cable would take all of five minutes.
