    Very disappointed

Contact CZ cust svc to find out what match ammo they use to verify sub-3/4 moa accuracy (their website states every rifle's accuracy is "verified". Then I'd get a box and see...

Barrel vice and action wrench kit?

Chamber cast will be- you're clamping the barrel a foot ahead of the chamber. It's obviously not going to affect the chamber behind it. Barrels should always be clamped just ahead of the receiver ring.

    .300 PRC Barreled Action Recommendations

^^^ This. Yes, you can shoot a 6.5 Creedmoor or just about anything else out to 1k and beyond- just point the bore skyward. Spotting your impacts needs to be considered, tho- and that's why I shoot a .300 WSM at 1K+ and a 7-08 inside of that.

    Hot barrel was hammering…why

Makes sense, could be. Heat expands the barrel (from inside out obviously=bore), stiffness is reduced, and harmonics change. Could be any or all of the above contributing to it. I'm sure you know strings like that will toast the throat (and accuracy) in short order with what's already a burner...

Savage 111 rifle, I just mesured the action the female thread is .006 off to the left. Also I can't understand why barrels are centered on a thread. A

Welcome to the forum. I'm still trying to understand your thread title- what exactly you measured, and how... Internal receiver threads "are .006 to the left"- of what? "Barrels are centered on a thread"- huh?

Rechamber question 243 Ackley to 6GT or something else?

No. Much more than a "setback"- it's time for the bandsaw on that one. Plus, new bolt... 6 ARC bolt gun should be built off a Howa mini in 6.5 grendel w/ a barrel swap for the easy button.

    Should I go magnum?

Short action = .300 WSM. Maybe a 7/6.5 PRC if ya don't mind a wildcat. Long= .338 Lapua Shooting a mile can be fun, or frustrating. Consider your conditions- private or public range? Can you set up a camera? Hit indicators on steel? You need to be able to spot your impacts- if you can't you...

    Federal does it again 😅

Perhaps with higher pressures, and steel/hybrid cases it'll get closer. Still going to be limited by short barrel length and case capacity, I don't see how those limiting factors can be overcome. The NATO 5.7x28 SS190 will do 2350 fps from a rifle length barrel, albeit with a 30 grain boolit.

    Federal does it again 😅

I understand bolt thrust- and that's exactly my point. A typical production short action with the common .473 +/- boltface isn't designed for 80,000 psi cartridges. It's designed around chamber pressures in the low 60's. Of course there's significant safety margin- but that's irrelevant as to...

    Federal does it again 😅

I would love to know This is THE only question I have. Different alloy? I mean, they can't change the dimensions of the receivers- too much rides on that standardization. Or, are they gonna tell us they've always been good for 80,000 psi? Savage...

As well you should be. It's bullshit. Equal and opposite reaction, remember? It's a "law"...

    Tikka Action bluing wearing off

In addition to small parts, I once did an entire barreled action for an Israeli Mauser that had a fair amount of surface rust. Blasted it and applied multiple coats of Oxpho. It takes some work and there's technique to the application to achieve an even finish of the desired depth of color, but...

And screw the barrel onto "what"? No thanks. Not sticking my eyeballs behind a receiver designed for max 65 kpsi with an 80 kpsi cartridge in the chamber. https://saami.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/277-Sig-Public-Introduction-Orig-2020-11-11.pdf Call me crazy... yep, those engineers are...

    Barrel torque settings

This. Perfectly parallel and faced with excellent surface finish, there's nothing to "crush". If shoulders aren't parallel, and/or poor surface finish those surfaces will deform/crush with the torque applied to them.

    Cartridges for plinking suggestions

Great chambering for the AR platform- and I've always thought a 6.5 Grendel would be equally as fun in a bolt gun...

How much for a custom reamer?

Dies require a resizing reamer, slightly different geometry. Your brass needs to be smaller than the chamber cut by the finish reamer. This is what I was trying to explain...

Has anyone had a Tikka cerakoted?

The rifle is all stainless steel, so the benefit is primarily cosmetics. Blued actions/barrels will benefit from the corrosion resistance.
