    I had the SLR Sentry 9 clamp with JP 22" barrel and 17.25" RC handguard and it barely fit. Matter of fact I installed the Superlative setscrew 0.936" version today and there is little more room vs Sentry 9. If JP made their detent adjust version in 0.936 I would get that without thinking twice...

    Get a Canon 77D, a nifty fifty and a 20mm and you're good to go. Should have some$$ left over for memory card, extra battery, case, etc... Use it for a year and by then you'll know what your next lens should be.
