I think you will be pleased with the results. I got a custom sized gas tube from them for my 16” 308 MWS for dedicated suppressed use. It made a huge difference.
I’m left handed and right eye dominant. I shoot handguns left handed and long guns right handed.
I’ve been doing it long enough that it feels natural.
The bonus to this cross dominance is ambidextrous trigger control. It makes support side shooting a lot easier once you get the eye issues...
I just heard about the SHC events being cancelled. That really bums me out. I enjoyed the NRL-X match there and was looking forward to going to more matches there when I return to Ohio a few times a year to visit family.
Thanks for the 2DAP suggestion! I ordered one this week based on this thread. I used it for an NRL-X match today and it was perfect. Just enough room for the important gear, good organization and easy access with the tri-zip.
I’m new to PRS style matches. Just a handful of 22 NRLs so far. I’ve been shooting USPSA and 3gun for awhile now. The efficiency of movement and the sooner mindset does apply. You can’t shoot into or out of a position like USPSA, but you can get into a stable position and send the first shot as...
What are the thoughts on scope manipulation ? I’ve never put much thought into this. After getting hooked on some NRL 22 action I want to refine my technique.
I’ve seen some modern day sniper videos demonstrating using the firing hand to dial. I’m noticing that I’ve been using my support hand...
I’ve only done one RNG event (Heartbreak) For me it was more of a walk and shoot. I was really happy with how gear felt and performed.

Low profile micro style molle chest rig (AR and pistol mag pouches, and snacks)

I’m a fan of the raven concealment vanguard for my G43. It’s not great for training since you need take it off to re-holster. However you can’t get any more low profile and minimalist.
That’s a good looking watch! I’ve had a U1 for about a year with no regrets. Something about their style just does it for me. I saw pictures of one and just had to get it.
I’m not going to sell the Tikka or try to swap barrel. I’ll probably end up with a Vudoo eventually.
I was able to confirm the elevation data for 300yds. I need to shoot more paper to get a feel for the actual accuracy potential. Putting up oversized paper helped a lot. I think my issue before...
I’m currently shooting a T1x in a KRG Bravo chassis. I really like the gun and it shoots awesome out to 100-200yds. I’m starting to get hooked on NRL22 matches. I don’t feel like the Tikka is holding me back, but I’ve struggled to get consistent results at 300yds. I guess the two NRL-X matches...

I like the Spuhr TRG Mount. I ditched the factory pic rail for one. I figure one less set of fasteners is a good thing. The downside is it limits using that mount on Sako and Tikka rifles and may be difficult to sell of you change scope tube sizes.
I have no experience with the SAKO bipod. I...
I have the same gun and have used a Bushnell DMR 2 Pro and Leupold MK5 3.6-18 on it. Both are great scopes. I like the 3-20ish mag range for a gas gun. I upgraded to the MK5 because I wanted an illuminated reticle and to cut some weight.
That‘s nice looking rifle.
I still don’t like the dollar value concept for the PRS production class. It would make more sense to me more sense to set a weight limit and limit allowed cartridges to be those available in commercially loaded match ammo (not limiting it factory ammo in competition)
Here’s my CO gun. Old gen3 G17 I bought probably 12 year ago had been gathering dust until the SRO came out. Absolutely love shooting a pistol with an RDS.

Got to put in a little work today. Looking forward to some USPSA tomorrow.
