    Old People Precision Rimfire

Both NRL22 and PRS22 have rules to allow Old Guys to shoot from alternative positions because of physical limitations. What allowances have you seen. I'm not as flexible as I used to be. If I have to go prone, you might as well throw a pillow down there with me, because I'm going to be there...

Sometimes when I see an old car picture like this, I can smell the old car smell. :)

    Best Rimfire Match elements?

Good thread. Lots of good information so far. I don't have much experience in administrating rifle matches, but I do have 40 years experience doing IDPA and USPSA pistol matches. Shooters want the same thing no matter what they are shooting. They want to have fun and leave happy they came and...

    6X5 Thread V5.0 *new 1/1/21*

Thanks for everything you've done and best wishes for the future. Ohio's usually pretty good, but you probably don't want to be here for the next few days. ;)

Your advice is needed, please... It's been 25 years since I shopped for a scope...

I'm quoting this because I think it's pretty good advice. The Crossfire II will not work for long range. I have one. :( One change I would make is to suggest your friend get a CZ 457 instead of a 10-22. Almost all of the winners in ARA Factory benchrest competition use CZ 457s because they...

CZ 457 Magazine Issues; 10 Round

In my 2 bad mags, I'm going to try bending the follower to different configurations and checking for flaws in the feed lips. I only use the older mags if time is important for now.

CZ 457 Magazine Issues; 10 Round

I have heard that sometimes the mags are assembled wrong with springs or followers in backwards. Compare to your mags that work. I have 8 mags from different time periods. The older ones work fine, but 2 of the newer ones don't always feed the last round correctly.

Long range fun in the dark, for poors

How about a satellite dish at 365 yards?

Huntingdon PA? Anyone live near by?

I was thinking of East Huntingdon. Might be a different place?

Huntingdon PA? Anyone live near by?

I think they have a really good USPSA club. That's all I know. I live over 2 hours away but I used to shoot there.

200 yards. Vudoo, NF, Eley Semi-Auto ammo, bench, bipod and rear bag. It's an old picture of my rifle. Best group: 1.179, Average: 2.035.

    A new entry - AWT's 22-Tango

Don did a trigger job on a 10-22 back in the mid 1990s and also built a 1911 top end for a frame I had. I think he was D&J's Guns or something back then. He did a nice job for me. :)

DeLane Dev Grp V-22S Single Shot Support

I remember that day a few years ago when I dropped by your place to show you my Vudoo. I'm proud of the work I've done. They call me "The Enabler". ;)

I would like ideas for recovering a .22LR fired slug undamaged.

Shoot into the big snowman the kids made. Mark the spot and wait for spring. :)

    Aluminum gongs

Old satellite dish at 365 yards. The concave dish directs the sound back at you. It makes a sorta thump, rather than a ring.

Results of Long Range Shooting With Small Caliber Rimfire Ammunition

Another episode of 50@350. A buddy loaned me a 20" by 20" steel target and I set it at 350 yards beside my other targets. I got there fairly early before the wind picked up and worked with my 10-22 getting windage and elevation settings. I was shooting several shots in a row trying to see how...

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

I went back and re-read my thread where I shot many different steel targets. A 15" square, an A/C IPSC and a Pepper Popper. It really depends on the weather, ammo etc. Some days I do pretty well and other days I'm just wasting ammo. For accuracy, I fire a limited number of rounds, often 50...

I've been doing 50 shots at 350 yards. Sort of a copy of justin amateur's 50 at 200. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/50-rounds-at-350-yards.6949113/ I think another thread would be good.

You'll want to treat or paint that. When the wood starts to rot, they get pretty wobbly. Treat the bottom that sits on the ground.
