    Check out a Vortex Razor HD AMG 6-24x50. Same quality glass as the gen 2 (if not a little better depending on who you ask) but coming in a lot lighter. They can be found all day lightly used for $2000.

    I would say copper for barrel and either for other parts, copper is usually higher temp. They make a while version that isn’t quite as messy but low temp.

    Sorry, I am one of those guys that can’t leave stuff alone. I give to you... The determinator Mod 1. Color the surface with a sharpie, let it dry a little, and gently clean it with alcohol to leave the marker in the laser etching. This is just because my eyes are bad lol.

    Rifle Scopes Parallax Assist Lever?

    You can try a smaller zip tie. Some people have used the larger ones on power rings so it should would on the parallax adjustment. Just tighten it up and cut the tail off to the desired length or flush and the little nub should help.
