    Gunsmithing removing paint from a scope

    I recently acquired a very nice swarovski 4-12x50 habicht. unfortunately the previous owner had rattle canned it. any suggestion as to how to remove the paint without damaging the scope's original finish or the lenses? any input will be greatly apreciated.

    Gunsmithing competitive edge gunworks remington bolts

    I'm about to rebuild an old long range rifle that was done in a lazzeroni patriot and considering replacing the bolt with a new one grom CEG. Has anyone here used one of these yet. Any feedback would be appreciated. Rem 700SA, going back to 308 Win with 1x11.25 5r at 24 inches in mcmillan a3.

    I recently acquired a picatinny rail mount for m14/m1a with the following markings nsn5855-01-506-5730 u.s. property. can anyone tell me who manufactured this mount? will try to get pics up later. Thanks
