    Range Report 308 vs 260

    Hey all. I have done some research looking at ballistics programs etc. My question, the .243 and .260 are flat shooting rounds out to a 1,000 yds. Flatter than .308, buck the wind better. Is there a bullet weight and type in .308 that will match the .243 & .260? Would a 110 gr BTHP match .243...

    I am making my first post here. So if I sound ignerant I apologize. I notice many 4 calibers discussed here seem to be most popular for longe range. .243, .260, .308, 30-06, 7mm- or 6-6.5mm. Does the standard .270 have any place in the long range 1,000 yd club. Thanks, Rob
