Best Comp for Rem 700 5R .300 WM

Trying to bring my recoil down on my Rem 5R .300 WM. Any suggestions on a great comp? Any Silencer brands have a can/comp combo??

At what power do you set your scope, to properly use your mildots on a 4-14x scope? Max, or 10x?? Could not find the info in faq section. Trying to learn..

Rifle Scopes 10x Fixed Scope??

Would a fixed 10x scope with mildot, be enough for 1000y shot? I like the durability of fixed and have read army reports of snipers using 10x only. Well, its 2010, is this still the best set up?

Remington R5 Milspec.300WM or FN PBR XP 24".300WSM
