    Remy 600 Recoil Lug

    Did Remington ever use a laminated recoil lug. It appears that is seperating on the two lower corners with forge marks traveling both up towards the barrel and across the bottom in the middle thickness of the recoil lug. This rifle has been in a wooden stock.
