Barrett QDL brake on a Model 99?
Hello everybody. I own a 32" Barrett 99 in 50 BMG. I have read somewhere that replacing the OEM Muzzle Brake with a QDL would redirect the muzzle blast away from the shooter (or at least reduce it). Is this POI shift somewhat normal?
I have a Griffin Optimus 9 suppressor. I just got my .308 Rem 700 SPS Tactical threaded to play with it. Muzzle device is a Minimalist Flash Hider, also form Griffin Armament. 300 Blackout: How slow cam you go?
So, I want to try to get to the lowest velocity that will reliably cycle my AR pistol. Sort of getting 45ACP ballistics out of a 300 BLK. Why, you ask... POI shift
I have this Rem 700 MLR in 338 Lapua. It's the model that came with the AI stock. Load is Berger 300gr over 81gr of H1000, 2470fps, pretty mild.
