Not a long range ? but still worth asking....I think.
My son purchased some .308 ammo, 2 brands. Tried to load and could not push bolt all the way in, ejected the casing and bullet was stuck in chamber, tried another bullet, same results. I put a mic on the remanding bullets and the 2 that were stuck and they were .310-.312. 2nd brand performed...- lovemylegacy

Building a rifle
Couple of years ago, I came to this site for info on building a rifle. I decided on a 7-08, so I purchased a Remmy 700/Xmark trigger/sporter barrel and put it in a HS Precision stock/bedded and pillared. Messed with different ammo and the rifle shot Fed Prems Partition better than anything else...- lovemylegacy

New Member just saying hi and desires SH opinions
Hey whats up? Just joined recently to learn a little more about shooting, in the past I would sight in at a known distance and wouldnt shot much past that distance.
