A good friend of mine, Cook, gave my two boys his Marine fatigues and some burlap to make their own ghillie suit for Christmas. I pulled out my ghillie for a reference for them to get started. I've always thought you should make your own ghillie instead of getting a store bought one.
Found this blue indigo in the middle of the road as I was leaving the ranch. Pulled him off the road, let the kids get a good look, and let him go safely into the brush. The rattler I killed at the ranch about two years ago. Big sucker!!
Found this blue indigo by the ranch camp house. Took some pictures, then released it. These are known for killing rattle snakes. Good to have around, since this ranch has a lot of rattle snakes.
My boys and I shoot, almost religiously, every Sunday morning. This is me and my oldest, James, at the range shooting 600 yds. I was teaching him to used his mildot reticle to range distance. My youngest, Brian, shooting his AR15 at 100 yds.
