    Found these snakes at the ranch/ range. Found the coral snake at the 650 yd mark, and the rattler at the ranch gate.

    Photos Christmas Ghillie's

    A good friend of mine, Cook, gave my two boys his Marine fatigues and some burlap to make their own ghillie suit for Christmas. I pulled out my ghillie for a reference for them to get started. I've always thought you should make your own ghillie instead of getting a store bought one.

    Found this blue indigo in the middle of the road as I was leaving the ranch. Pulled him off the road, let the kids get a good look, and let him go safely into the brush. The rattler I killed at the ranch about two years ago. Big sucker!!

    Found this blue indigo by the ranch camp house. Took some pictures, then released it. These are known for killing rattle snakes. Good to have around, since this ranch has a lot of rattle snakes.

    Photos Range Day

    My boys and I shoot, almost religiously, every Sunday morning. This is me and my oldest, James, at the range shooting 600 yds. I was teaching him to used his mildot reticle to range distance. My youngest, Brian, shooting his AR15 at 100 yds.

    Photos James' First Bobcat!!

    Last year for my son's 14th birthday, all he asked for was a weekend at the ranch. He was hoping for a nice 8pt-er, but to his surprise, this guy came wondering through his sendero on the last evening we were there. He shot it with his Remington 700 .308 (that he helped build and DuraCoat).

    Photos Guys NIGHT out.....Successful pig hunt.

    I took my boys, James and Brian to hunt pigs at my buddy, Julio's, ranch. James and I set up with PVS14 and a Raptor 6x night vision. Julio and Brian spot lighted and came out successful...
