I have a few AR's that I occaisionally shoot suppressed. They work fine with the standard buffers. However, I do not want to put undo stress on the action or bolt. Any suggestions or helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.
When shooting with a suppressor I am getting lots of buildup on the barrel crown. Is this normal? Is this same build up occuring in the rifling? FYI to eliminate any attacks, I do clean it after every outing.
Does anyone have any experience with extended bolt knobs, as far as installation. My though was grinding bolt handle down, slipping knob on, and securing it with Devcon.
I am currently working on a Blackout build. It will have a 16" barrel. I am looking for proven loads for 125 Gr Sierra, 150 Gr Hornady Full Metal Jacket, and anything else 168 MK, 200 Mk, etc. I have H110, AA1680, and Lil Gun powders on hand.
I am getting ready to work on loads for the .510 Whisper and 300 Whisper.
Any Recommendations for primers on either one, I was not sure if a large rifle primer was sufficient on the .510. Data is hard to find. Any thoughts on 300 greatly appreciated as well.
