    Accessories WTS Sako TRG 22 .308 factory 20" barrel 1:11 twist

    I took this off my Sako TRG 22 last night. It is a 20" 1:11 twist .308 barrel. The muzzle is threaded the factory M18X1 threads with the factory thread protector. This barrel has approximately 900 rds through it. Since it is .308 it still has plenty of life left. I converted mine to 6.5...

    trg thread pattern

    I don't have a sako trg. Eventually some day I would like a Sako Trg 22 20" and an AAC cyclone for it. If it was you would you get the 26" trg and cut it to 20" and thread at 5/8X24 or just get a 20" barrel stick with the Sako thread pattern?

    Savage extraction/ejection tweeks?

    I have a 20" Savage 5r .308. I have never shot it. I eventually plan to customize it. I have never really messed with centerfire savages hut I have read they have extraction and ejection issues. I have a ptg bolt head. What should be tweeked/parts replaced to aid extraction/ejection.
