That's an odd problem that you are facing. My guess would be that one of the lenses in the scope might have shifted, and is causing the the image to be reflected or duplicated making it visible internally. The silver lining to this is that SWFA is great about their warranty, and I'm sure that...

I'd suggest that you take a look at the Bushnell Forge scopes that are going for some great prices on Natchez and Midway. For the price, I haven't seen anything better currently.

I'd go with the Steiner P4XI 4-16x56 from CameraLandyNY. That's in my opinion the best bang for the buck for a scope in the price range you are looking at. Good luck with the training class.

I'd suggest getting the Steiner P4XI 4-16x56 from Doug @ CameraLandyNY. It's within your budget, and it delivers a ton of performance for the money, and I'd bet it will have better glass quality than any of the scopes you listed.

I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet. These Bushnell Forge scopes are really nice, and at this price is a steal. I have a couple of them and I've been really impressed with them, and the image quality is right up with most scopes around $1000. GLWTS.
