    Re: Made myself a new trigger gaurd today!! If you think that a thin band of metal is "cheap", look at the molded plastic trigger guards on most .22 rifles. I wish that my .17HMR Savage had a "cheap" metal trigger guard instead of a plastic one.

    Re: 22 cal take down NEF makes a single shot take down .22 that has the advantage of being able to be fitted with .17M2, .17HMR and .22 Mag barrels although each barrel would require its own scope.
