This is a 26" Hawkhill barrel by Preece Precision in 6.5 x 47L. Its a 1:8 twist with a .291 neck and was told just over 100 rounds down this barrel. MTU Profile - barrel measures 1.25" at the shank and 0.94 at the muzzle. I also have a fresh box of 6.5 x 47 Lapua brass to go along with it...
I've been using Strelok for about a year now with my Stevens Model 200 in 308 Winchester. I handload 175 SMKs over 43.5 grains of IMR-4064 and had roughly estimated based on data from my reloading manual that the muzzle velocity was around 2625 FPS. The ballistic calculator really impressed me...

Once you build a copper equilibrium, how do you clean the barrel without removing the copper? Do you just avoid using a copper solvent? Do factory Savage barrels tend to go less rounds between cleanings than say an upper end aftermarket barrel? Estimated round count???
